By using CozyBooks you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
You must be at least 13 years old. Readers aged 13–15 may use CozyBooks for personal reading tracking, but the public shelf and community features are only available from age 16. You’re responsible for keeping access to your email (your sign-in method) secure.
CozyBooks is a cozy reading tracker, currently an early prototype offered “as is” and “as available”. Features may change, break, or disappear, and the app may be unavailable at times. We don’t guarantee that data entered during the prototype phase will be preserved indefinitely — please keep your own backup via Account → “Download my data”.
You own the content you create (reviews, ratings, notes, profile). By making your shelf public, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and display that content within CozyBooks (for example on your public shelf and on a book’s community page) for as long as you keep it public. Turning the public shelf off, deleting the content, or deleting your account ends that license.
You agree not to: post hateful, harassing, illegal, or sexually explicit content; impersonate others; spam or manipulate ratings/reviews; attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service; or scrape or misuse other readers’ public content. See the Community Guidelines for details.
Readers can report content. Content reported by several distinct accounts may be automatically hidden from public view pending review. We may warn, hide content, suspend, ban, or delete accounts that violate these Terms or the Community Guidelines. We aim to apply the least severe action that resolves the issue.
You can delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, with or without notice where appropriate.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CozyBooks is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data during the prototype phase. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer or data-protection law.
We may update these Terms; we’ll update the date above and surface a notice in the app for material changes. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
